I am a Clinical Psychologist, researcher, educator, and writer based in Wales.

My work sits at the intersection of mental health, identity, climate change, and wellbeing. I am particularly interested in how individuals and communities navigate uncertainty, adversity, and social change, and how psychology can contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future.

Alongside clinical practice, I work as a Senior Clinical Tutor on the South Wales Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology at Cardiff University, where I teach, supervise research, and support the training of future clinical psychologists. I am also Editor-in-Chief of Psychology and Psychotherapy: Theory, Research and Practice.

My research has explored topics including climate distress, nature connection, pro-environmental behaviour, eating disorders, identity, and the future role of psychology in responding to climate and ecological change. Increasingly, my work focuses on how psychology can help individuals, services, and societies adapt to a rapidly changing world.

I have contributed to professional guidance on planetary health and clinical psychology, delivered invited talks and workshops nationally and internationally, and collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and community organisations working across mental health and environmental sustainability.

I am passionate about making psychological ideas accessible beyond academia and clinical services. Through writing, teaching, public engagement, and collaboration, I hope to contribute to conversations about what it means to live well in an era of environmental and social change.

I am a fluent Welsh speaker and can provide supervision, consultation, and therapy in either Welsh or English.
